Micro Pulleys
What Are Micro Pulleys Used For?
While they aren't necessary, micro pulleys are a great addition to any arborist's tree gear bag. In a tree climbing system or a tree pulling kit, micro pulleys can be used as a prusik minding pulley. This lets you advance the prusik or friction hitch without manually advancing the prusik, saving time and effort.
If you need better work positioning, a micro pulley can help you achieve it. Many of them come with self lubricating bushings, as well as built-in rigging plates, or swinging side plates. Many have a stainless steel rivet axle or aluminum axle, making them light and strong. You'll never even notice you're carrying one, but it can make your worksite far more versatile.
At Treestuff, we believe in being prepared with the right gear. We carry some of the most popular micro pulleys available on the market, from companies like CMI, Notch, and DMM. Ultra-compact, you'll never feel any extra weight, but you'll be glad to have them with you.
