Scion 11.5mm is thick for good grip, with a polyester cover that provides a soft, knot-able feel. Its carefully engineered to fit that sweet spot of low elongation but good absorption of dynamic forces. The durable cover works well with mechanical climbing devices and it runs efficiently through hardware. This is a great rope for the climber constantly switching between SRT and DRT.
